The Order In Summon
The
Order In Summon
is an association of men bound by Familial relation
who share the common purpose of
mentoring and nurturing the physical, mental,
social, academic, and cultural well-being of the
young men (erroneously referred to as “boys”)
within the Family. The Order’s timely establishment
was inspired by the thought forms of divine beings
who exist on what we refer to as “the other
side,” and yet who still maintain a strong
connection to beings on this side.
In
some way or another, most of us
recognize the existence of a higher power responsible
for the order within the chaos that is our universe.
We also recognize that although many of our relatives
have passed on, that we, at times, still sense
that someone or ones are watching over us. More
importantly, we have often felt that these beings
are actually right there with us in times of great
emotional distress. It is written in the Psalms
of the Prophet/Apostle David, the 23rd Chapter,
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for
thou art with me…” In plain English,
the author expresses that he shall not be in awe
of evil because there exists in his favor a far
more powerful presence. If the being who is addressed
in that expression was able to be perceived, then
this pillar of faith would lose its symbolism.
The strength of the affirmation is that the being
who is addressed is actually not a tangible being,
and is unable to be perceived by human eyes or
touched by human hands. Despite our inability
to quantify, categorize, or otherwise mark this
Higher Being, this statement has been widely accepted
and heralded by millions in the face of true adversity.
The “You” or “Thou” spoken
of in Psalms, the “O He Who Is,” or
“I AM,” who simply IS, relates to
all of his creations in so far as He is the Source
of all life. Our ancestors who were actually here,
those who were simply born into this world prior
to our conception who lived, ate, slept, got married,
had relations, conceived life, had children, raised
those children and grandchildren, and then died
for the most part before we were ever born, relate
to us in so far as they are those from whom we
descend, genetically and spiritually. Everytime
that a child is born to a mother and father, eons
of genetic material is passed to the newly born
in what we refer to as the person’s DNA
which of course exists in the blood. It is so
particular, so unique that it is the main focus
when trying to determine anything from what group
of people are the oldest on the planet to specifically
who committed the crime.

Within
our blood
is not only
the code that determines everything about who
we are and what we look like physically including
how tall we are, the color of our skin and hair,
the shape of our eyes, even how far we can run
or how big we can get regardless of how much weight
we can lift, but also esoterical and spiritual
influences such as why your family ended up settling
in a certain spot on the planet, why you are extremely
sensitive to certain situations, why for some
unknown reason a man has an affinity for women
with long faces, why a child is prone to drawing
a certain shape repetitively, why you keep humming
a particular tune although you cannot remember
for the life of you where you heard it, why you
sense that you have been in a certain situation
before. The genetic code in the blood of a man
is physical matter but has properties beyond the
limited intellect of man that allow it to correspond
with forces on the spiritual plane. On the spiritual
plane and the plane of forces are occurrences,
life events that are just as real to the beings
who reside there as the events that take place
in this world are to us. We would like to think
that angelic beings, spirits, and ghosts have
no other purpose aside from sitting in the presence
of God, bringing us messages from time to time,
and scaring the heck out of us when they get angry.
On the contrary, life continues on that side as
real to them and as material to their continued
existence as ours is to us on this side. They
still love; they still communicate; they still
war with one another; and The Most High, The Highest
still rules over all. In fact, spiritual beings
are on the same path home to the Creator that
we are. That journey is common to us all, and
that journey binds us all. In many cases, our
desire to return to our Heavenly Father is the
only thing we do share. When we feel that our
ancestors, the grandmother who raised us or the
father who recently passed away, is right there
with us, it is because they literally are in all
ways: mentally continuing to exist as your thoughts
keep their influence alive; physically continuing
to exist as their corporeal genetic material is
still alive in your blood which houses the very
electrical charges or impulses exploding in your
brain defined as “thought” which direct
every aspect of your behavior, which in turn defines
your character; and spiritually as they have simply
shed one aspect of their being in death which
is the physical body that we all knew to be a
temporary thing from the beginning. We know that
death is a certainty for anything living, but
there has not been one ancient civilization of
merit which did not refer to death as a doorway,
or a progression of life from physical to spiritual.
There are countless records from earlier cultures
that talk about beings who visited these early
cultures from “up there” or “out
there,” and that these beings taught lessons
that contained, in part, confirmation that those
beings after death maintain a constant connection
to physical people on Earth. Suffice it to say,
the Wisemen of Summon have been advised by their
ancestors from “up there” and given
a framework by which the young men in the Family
may be reconnected to them.
This
framework
is nothing
complicated or grandiose. It is simply transparency
and access to the aggregate life experiences of
the older men in the Family who know what lies
down that road, or in that room, or over that
hill because they’ve already been there.
This singular purpose is the Order’s reason
for being. The Wisemen of Summon were shown that
much could be accomplished by resorting to the
natural tribal approach to nurturing young men.
Multiple minds are better than one, as long as
those minds can meet. With this plain and simple
direction, the Wisemen of Summon proceeded to
establish the Order bound to and premised upon
certain facts.
The
highest
of these
facts is that there is no such thing as an old
fool. Try as you may to come up with examples
to the contrary, this particular fact is a revelation
from advanced thought and thus, to us, is irrefutable.
Earth is a plane of illusions. An elderly man,
the oldest living male Family member, is an honored
man. Despite the appearance of weakness, frailty,
or defenselessness, one who is aged is blessed.
Somehow through it all, this oldest living male
member has succeeded in doing something that millions
upon millions of the most favored, the most endowed,
and the most intelligent people fail to do everyday—he
survived. That’s it. The oldest living male
in the entire Family has enough experience, evidence
of what was, and acquired reasoning in his head
and in his heart that if his practical knowledge
was documented, even the largest of libraries
would overflow. Yet, most families allow that
individual to “pass on” without ever
stopping to take the time to tap into that immense
volume of experience and reason. Many early civilizations
taught that as long as one is remembered, (s)he
never dies. Through The Order In Summon, the oldest
living male Family member will gain immortality
as ordained by our ancestors who have granted
him this honor, and this honorable seat will change
as constantly as time passes.
It
is also a reality
in many families that there are other male members
who naturally and convincingly assume roles of
leadership. For example, they may command the
family’s undivided attention at family gatherings
whenever they speak on any subject. On the whole,
they may consistently develop goals that would
serve the family’s interests; may instill
and teach mutual respect between family members;
may serve as an example of fiscal responsibility;
may hold true to cultural rites of passage; may
practice care in dealing with sensitive family
matters; may find it more agreeable to not over-extend
their role in any situation; may value loyalty
above all else; may recognize that knowledge is
a virtue and that people would rather know than
not know; may respect and encourage the individual’s
right to decide for self; may teach the young
children life lessons and work to keep them connected
to the family center; may actively work to not
lose the young to the vices of any culture; may
be well-spoken or highly educated; may be natural
leaders; may have the gift of the pen; may be
talented with inspiring people to act through
visual design; may be well-read; or may be positive
influences on acceptable forms of behavior in
society.
The
Order In Summon has a natural
energy that is centered within four (4) men inclusive
of the oldest living male Family member. The potential
to make a difference in the lives of the young
men of The Order co-varies with the bond between
these four men. That is to say, the stronger the
bond, the more meaningful an impact the association
of men can have.
The
Wisemen of Summon were also advised
that the young men in the Family would respond
more favorably if they were given the comforts
of associating with their peers in all matters.
The direction given was that there was to be a
clear demarcation or line between those who have
experienced life as a mature adult and those who
have not, and in this determination there is to
be no emotion. Either you are an adult and behave
as such or you are not. Having been through the
turbulence of the pre-teen, teen, and young adult
years, the Wisemen understood this necessary principle.
Young men, while experiencing the challenges with
puberty, young love, extracurricular activity,
financial limitation, sports, academics, and internal
politics within the home often assume that their
experiences make them men in the sense of being
mature, responsible individuals. On the contrary,
it is only after time and action which could include
being responsible for one’s own survival
in every aspect that a young man simply steps
into manhood. For our people whose natural purpose
is not rooted in the amount of material things
we can amass over a lifetime, spiritual growth,
emotional control, and the progressive realization
of a worthy idea are most important. Within The
Order, recognition from the adult men in the Family
of one’s maturation and preparedness for
mentoring the remaining younger men is a great
honor and a celebrated occasion. It is at this
pivotal point that the young man joins the rank
of adult men in the efforts of mentoring, educating,
and nurturing our Familial youth. This is the
adult male’s greatest ambition in serving
his extended Family.
Attendant
to being of
similar mind and purpose within The Order, the
Wisemen of Summon also visually link themselves
to each other through unity of dress. Whenever
the men meet, there is a particular garb that
is expected although not mandated. Each article
of this uniform dress has historical, cultural,
and spiritual significance to the men of The Order.
There are established policies and procedures
for conducting full meetings inclusive of both
the young men and the adult men. There are established
policies and procedures for the adult men only
meetings in which the subject matter and structure
of discussion for the young men are determined.
Nothing is ever done which is not agreed upon
as being beneficial for the young men in the Family.
Nothing is ever done which is not agreeable to
our ancestors to whom we are bound.
In
completing this discussion of
the inspiration for The Order, the spiritual connection
of The Order, the basic facts upon which The Order
is founded, the principles which guide The Order,
and the high purpose of The Order, the Wisemen
would be remiss if there was no mention of the
presence of the woman in The Order. Over all,
unconditional love for woman is at the very heart
of our coming together. Although women do not
participate in the adult meetings or the full
meetings of all members, all members of The Order
have genetic ties to one woman (Helen Catherine
Parker—Peace Be Unto Her); all members reside
in homes that practice in some fashion the wisdom
of one woman in raising her own children; every
woman in the Family has access to any man in The
Order for assistance with guiding her child(ren),
male or female; the woman’s multiple roles
of grandmother, mother, wife, sister, daughter,
aunt, niece, cousin and friend are fully respected;
and all information used to stay connected to
each male relies heavily on the mother’s
input and assistance. Taken as a whole, much of
what we do is to strengthen the young man’s
sense of duty in fulfilling one of his greatest
innate responsibilities, which is to be the protector
and maintainer of the women to whom he is bound.
In
The Order In Summon, a man is
never alone. Let us do with earnest and conviction
that which we have been charged to do. As an earlier
expression of one of the Wisemen of Summon reads,
“This life is but for a time, and a place,
but the men of Summon learn to recognize their
full potential on Earth while internally, spiritually,
and patiently working to prepare for the day of
transition when we will individually go to that
place in which THEY are all waiting for us…our
Ancient ancestors who we know exist throughout
time and space.” You may read the words
to that manifestation and view them as simply
poetic, but if you were privileged enough to be
shown the immense meaning behind them…just
one second…Are you worthy? If not, please
leave. If so, Proceed.
