The Generation S.N.A.P. Campaign

The Campaign began in response to concerns from more than 100,000 parents, educators, ministers and politicians to reduce the decline in the black neighborhood by countering psychological urban warfare.

The campaign was developed with input from partner organizations and focus groups conducted across the country. These groups revealed that most citizens agreed with the need to do something, but those same citizens lack the solution(s) needed to correct the problem. The same concerns exist throughout many levels of educational and governmental agencies.

Court systems and local, state and federal agencies are constantly creating programs to try and alter how residents within the black community interact with one another. The true solution to the problem must take place inside of the individuals that make up the community and how they interact with each other to repair the disconnect that has developed over time.

Research strongly supports the urgent need to find a solution, provide extensive training, and identify resources , which will teach our people how to get back to the basics by first understanding where the problem originates. The highly acclaimed publication written by Professor Alfred “Coach” Powell entitled, Hip Hop Hypocrisy: When Lies Sound Like the Truth, methodically walks the reader step-by- step through the psychological traps devised to destroy the potential for success within the hearts and minds of our black communities.

Once we understand the problem, then we can begin the process to cure the ailments that exist in our communities. It is up to us to get the job done! Our training programs will S.N.A.P. (Stimulate Natural Analytical Processing) our people back to the tried and true disciplines that have carried us as a people through hundreds of years of trials and tribulations.
